The Sacramento Hospice Consortium has been a touchstone for hope and healing in our community for 30 years. Please join us in celebrating our 30th Anniversary with a very special evening with Dr. Alan Wolfelt, founder and director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition and noted author, educator and grief counselor. As this complimentary evening celebrates all individuals who work in grief, loss or end-of-life care, Dr. Wolfelt will discuss Touchstones for Hope and Healing. Come and learn how "Touchstones" can support each individual's unique grief journey. We will also honor
the Junior League of Sacramento as our founding organization and Raley's Fine Foods for their on-going generous support.

This informative workshop will help participants enhance their skills related to supporting people experiencing grief and loss. Dr. Alan Wolfelt will explore a “companioning “ model of bereavement care that recognizes grief as a normal and necessary process that is fundamentally a journey of the heart and soul. Participants will go away with a wealth of knowledge as they explore the transformative nature of grief.
